You cannae play a kid in a game worth 10m+ and his home debut to boot. not from the start anyway... that's crazy talk.
It's a night for old heads and professionalism.
As someone else has said, the lad's a full Brazilian international - he's clearly no mug. A home tie, with a 1-0 lead and in great form...I think it's a good opportunity to give him a game and let him show us what he can do.
I think Rafa will take your view, though, and start with Momo and Masher in the middle.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

I think a bench role is probably best. I would definitely be keen to see him get a half of the game. It's not really a case of just experience for me but communication. Especially if we have a number of changes to the team and no Carra at the back.
For me after today it would be Momo + one in the middle of the park.

Me too. Actually I'm quite looking forward to the league cup this year for this sort of reason. A lot of our players will have something to prove and some of the young players seem to be of the standard where they should play now. Hopefully like Arsenal a few years ago we will play a complete shadow team and still thump some league one / championship sides.

I'm keen to see him as well, but this game is too early for him. With seven subs he may have a chance off the bench.
He's only 20 and only just been an International (and a friendly).
All moot points as none of us see the results of training and fitness levels so we are picking blind.

Don't take life too seriously or you'll never get out alive.
Don't really give a **** what the team is tbh. We'll beat them regardless.
Looking forward to seeing Crouch coming back into the fold though. (he most definetely will)
