Yes, people need to consider what crap opposition we had tonight.

I'd put Benayoun on the left on Saturday. Babel as an attacking mid and pennant on the right.

They are not a great side but I think we made them look a lot worse that what they are. As soon as they got the ball they were closed down, Sissoko was great and broke up the play in there half all the time.

Yeah he's not a RW. In his defence though he holds his position very well most of the time, but his best work comes when he moves inside, into the space behind the strikers. A lovely, deft touch player - good weight on his passing and spots the centre-forwards' movement nicely.

As has been said, he'll prove an invaluable asset mainly at home against packed defences.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Agree Yossi isnt a right winger thats why i hope we bring in an extra winger.

Id start Babel on the right for a few games to get him going.

looks like he had a good game by all reactions. Ive only seen the highlights, so i can't really give an opinion.
As i said when we signed him, his movement and ability to spot the runs our strikers will make will be invaluable. He is a super little player, and i was only to happy to get him for the price we paid.

I'd like to see Torres and Yossi more often BTW....they could be lethal once they gain an understanding of each others play.

                          Crouch and Pennant.....Torres and Yossi

We dont need wingers on both sides of the pitch though IMO. We need one out and out winger, who gets down the line (Pennant has done so to good effect so far), and we need a creative goalscoring wide player (Yossi/Babel).

That being said, i would cream myself if we could get a top class winger before the end of the window....but i can't see it happening

I think Benayoun should start at left midfield againts Derby.

Benayoun is suited to games against opposition who defend deep because he's got great vision and is able to unlock a tight formation with a clever pass. He offers something different to our other wide midfielders and he'll be crucial this season against the Derby's, Birmingham's and Boro's of this league. I also expect him to be a constant presence in Champions' League games.
