His distribution and general build up play was fantastic last night!

i though that was mad - maybe it was just toulouse being brutal, but sami looked like the total footballer last night. no hoofing, gliding forward, nice touches, helped to bulid attacks, immaculate positionally in defence, never misses a defensive header, a ****in goal . he is probably one of the few certifiable LFC legends in our team at the moment and deserves a no. 19 medal more than most. and there's no way rafa could get rid of him af last night whether we were stuck for cover or not.

If I remember rightly (and I was wildly drunk) his first act was to hesitate and let a high ball bounce right in front him, after about 30 seconds. Me and my mate looked at each other and I said something like "For ****'s sake, not another Piechnik?!"

First time I watched him was against B'burn in a pre season friendly. I knew we'd been blessed there and then, he won just about everything in the air which was brilliant, after the Babb and Harkness years.
