Hopefully Agger and Sami can carry on keeping clean sheets while Carra is away.

He'll have a fight on his hands to get back in the side

Yeah i did, was when the players were lining up?
Hard to believe this is his 8th season( i think) with us, not really the norm for a foreign player to come from an unfashionable club over to premiership.
Houllier and his scouting department played a blinder in signing the big man.
        Bargain? Just a bit.

i though that was mad - maybe it was just toulouse being brutal, but sami looked like the total footballer last night. no hoofing, gliding forward, nice touches, helped to bulid attacks, immaculate positionally in defence, never misses a defensive header, a ****in goal . he is probably one of the few certifiable LFC legends in our team at the moment and deserves a no. 19 medal more than most. and there's no way rafa could get rid of him af last night whether we were stuck for cover or not.

            Eight seasons?! Jesus.

I was there for his debut - Sheffield Wednesday away. If I remember rightly (and I was wildly drunk) his first act was to hesitate and let a high ball bounce right in front him, after about 30 seconds. Me and my mate looked at each other and I said something like "For ****'s sake, not another Piechnik?!"
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Good to see him making the right noises! Great performance yesterday, he should do well against Derby

                  Such a humble man too.

I dont think I've heard him say anything bad about anyone...EVER!

Not refs, not managers, not former players, not pundits.

                  Just an all round legend.

In my defence, for the that first minute or so at Wednesday he looked ****ing hopeless.

                        I always rated Cheyrou

Away at Bolton, when Baros scored twice, Bruno was ****ing electric.

Aye, he took his loss of captaincy and losing his place to Agger like a man too. No whinging, no complaining, just got on admirably with the job.

Can't believe people were calling for his head 3 or 4 years back, saying he was past it.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

First time I watched him was against B'burn in a pre season friendly. I knew we'd been blessed there and then, he won just about everything in the air which was brilliant, after the Babb and Harkness years.
