As as been said, it's against rugby-based teams like Blackburn and the bitter blues that we'll see how things are progressing.


Also out of upcoming fixtures the Portsmouth game is probably the one that will tell us the most.

me too...........thats not going to be our problem this year or any year Rafa is in charge, to be honest with you the only thing I can see that may scupper our chances is too many draws.....we are not going to lose that many this year I bet, but I still think we may struggle to kill teams off. Villa being a prime example...other than stevies wonder goal of course, we may boss games but get caught by counter attacks. I think the quality of the other teams has risen a lot too so it wont be easy, reckon 80+ points may do it this year.

Agreed. We only drew with them in China, mainly because they didn't try and win. Expect more of the same.

We're looking great atm, our start of the season has been very impressive. The new signings have looked promising, Torres has been a lot better than most of us expected and things are very bright. I am feeling really good about this season and I can see that a lot of other people are too. This resulting in a lot of people around here expressing how great we are and that they expecting to win things.

Just playing the devils advocate saying that the season has just begun and even though things are looking great and we're very good at the moment there's still tons that can go wrong. Even though we're in the best shape in years and years I'm pretty confident to say that we're in for a very rough ride this season. Even though it should prove to be more successful than the last.
