They don't have to be happy about it, but his reaction was disrespectful, to Rafa and Lucas.

i dont think he will start, it will be xabi and masch. Hes playing well but still, in my opinion, not as good as either xabi or masch. Great player to have around though, hope none of them **** off.

it shows they care that they despise being left out or substituted. i reckon they're all proffessional enough to understand the situation otherwise they wouldn't have joined as rafa's stance is very well documanted.
also, this is just another topic the press has jumped on, like rotation and zonal defending.

Although personally, I think we should have taken a 10million offer for Momo, if it was available. We just have too many good players in that position.

A couple of injuries or suspesions and will be short, better to have more players then been short in that position

[QUOTE=mickeydocs;646937]I thought he did well the other night but on a couple of occasions he gave some poor passes his first pass after half time was a joke.
Against better teams we would be punished for sloppyness like that he really has to improve on that aspect of his game!

              QUOTE]

I think thats pretty unfair. He has played extremely well this season and there is no player on this earth that does not occassionally play a sloppy pass and not every one gets punished.

I don't defend Momo, because he needs to understand that this is a team sport and that if manager brings you off, accept that and get over with it. He'll start against Derby anyway
                What about Lucas though?
He clearly has plenty of ability, and the tie was all but over. He didn't have a minutes playing time competitively for Liverpool before that game.
I personally was dying for him to come on. In place of Momo who had done his job.

'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'

"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.

I think Momo needs to drop that attitude, it's just plainly disrespectful to Lucas who was making his debut at Anfield, he barely returned the crowds applause as he walked off either. I wont be suprised if he leaves next season if we get Mascher on a permanent basis and Lucas developes the way people believe he will. A shame as i really rate him and he could turn into a world class player.

Not really, all i'm saying is it wouldn't suprise me if he left. I also point out he's got the ability to be world class and it would personally disapoint me if he decided to leave. However it's clear he sought assurances from the manager in the summer about his position in the team and he was clearly pissed at being subbed tuesday night.

If Mascher and Lucas are here next term then that means 5 central midfielders at the club, all of which represent their country and will want to play regularly in the big games etc. I couldn't blame a player if he sought more game time elsewhere and i think SG,XA and JM are all ahead of him in terms of talent. It's upto every player to fight for a place but also to have the patience to wait.

Yeah, he'll never be world class.

I think there is a very good chance Momo will be gone next season. He clearly rates himself very highly and I think we will see some more strops from him before the season is out.
