I dont think pongos that bad a finisher! hes never realy been given a decent chance to prove himself in the first team! how many times has he come on as a sub and changed a game for us! the only side of his game that need working on is his passing!

Can I be the FIRST person to mention that Carra might get moved to RB if Finnan gets crocked, Agger has proven that he is up to the challange of the premiership, so it's less of a gamble.

                          Until we finally land Alves.

can I be the first to say...what about Lee Peltier? Isn't he at melwood nowadays training as a right back? Maybe Rafa got rid of Kromkamp to give Peltier a chance to show himself?
No doubt Rafa has Alves down for the next transfer window either in Jan or next summer having got most of his targets this summer so he will go for his number 1 target next year.

I was impressed with Alves last week in the super cup & so would many others such as the team he played against! we will face an almighty battle to land Alves in the near future.
Nope, don't need anger management, you just need to stop pissing me off!

Just a thought, might be boll*cks but is it feasible?
I'm fairly sure that the transfer window is actually a restriction on when the registration of a player can be changed. Therefore if the registration of a player is held by a team at the deadline then he cannot move (obviously in the case of a player without the contract before the deadline no club has his registration).

Would like to see one of the youngsters given a try at RB if it comes to it. Certainly when the league cup starts I would expect to see someone tried out in the position from the youth/reserve setup.
