I would take Scholes ahead of Benayoun though, and Carrick or hargreaves ahead of sissoko and rooney ahead of voronin or Kuyt. Vidic instead of Hyppia too round out the squad.

Scholes, as good as he used to be is well past his best, and wants putting out to grass. Ive watched him a few times this season and some of his play has been shocking. Benayoun is in his prime and I think youd have to be crazy to swap the two at this stage of their careers.

Sissoko is worrying me, but id still take him ahead of Carrick...amusingly slow, indecisive and dwells on the ball too much. A fit Hargreaves id swap for, but hes far too injury prone for this squad. Hed be Harry Kewell 2.0

I don't understand how people can objectively pick such predominantly Liverpool teams, as it's obvious the Man U team has had far more success than we have in recent years. If you were to look at it honestly, there's no doubt Man U have a better squad, because they have been so much more successful than us.

VDS or Reina - VDS - only in the short term though.. don't trust Reina
Neville or Finnan - Similar players IMO, either one
Vidic/Ferdinand/Carra/Agger - Ferdinand WAS man u's best player last season, cannot believe seriously he is not rated here. Vidic is dodgy against class players (believe me). I would take carragher to play beside rio. Jury is out on Agger.
Evra or Riise - Evra, awesome atm this seasons best player for us so far
Ronaldo or Pennant - Ronaldo
Scholes or Gerrard - Gerrard is the BEST midfielder in the country (MAKE NO MISTAKE ON THAT). Obviously my favourite man u player is scholes (look at my name lol), however as discussed earlier he is coming to the end of his career.
Mascherano/Alonso or Hargreaves/Carrick - Mascherano = Hargreaves, Alonso>Carrick
Giggs/Nani/Babel - Giggs
Rooney/Tevez/Torres/kuyt/Saha - Torres looks AWESOME, i would play either Rooney or Tevez with him.

Reina is by far the more valuable keeper since they have arrived at their respective clubs, deffo the better spot kick stopper, better delivery of the ball, but is prone to the odd blood rush to the head. Still comes out as the better keeper for me.
Neville or Finnan - Similar players IMO, either one
Finnan every day. Finnan IMO is the best defencive right fullback in the world, and can get forward to boot.
Vidic/Ferdinand/Carra/Agger - Ferdinand WAS man u's best player last season, cannot believe seriously he is not rated here. Vidic is dodgy against class players (believe me). I would take carragher to play beside rio. Jury is out on Agger. cases can be made for all four players, hard to choose in this department.

Gerrard is an advanced midfield player for me, depends on how you like your team to line up really. would not be going infront of the back 4.
Mascherano/Alonso or Hargreaves/Carrick - Mascherano = Hargreaves, Alonso>Carrick, MAcherano and Alonso are more diciplined than Carrick and Hargreaves, Hargreaves position is taken up by gerrard.
Giggs/Nani/Babel - Giggs Cant argue with giggs.
Rooney/Tevez/Torres/kuyt/Saha - Torres looks AWESOME, i would play either Rooney or Tevez with him. Rooney and Torres for me.

Edit: Right, thread re-opened. For the record there is no rule saying all members must be Liverpool fans. Rival fans are welcome as long as they are up front, honest, and come here with good intentions and reasonable expectations. It's not for anyone on here to flame them off the forum. If they turn out to be WUMs they will be dealt with, but if not then they can add to the forum just as they do on other Liverpool sites.
