Also lost 3-0 at home to Roma in the '2nd group stage', according to that. Blimey. Maybe we were just absolutely ****.

& we are most certainly playing like Valencia used to, its plain to see really..not at their level yet though..but we certainly have the right mix of (mainly) hungry players in their early 20s, (slightly) older hats such as Gerrard, Riise etc and the likes of Sami/Carra

None from me. But I'd be interested if you find one. I'm not normally in the habit of watching us get dicked but I think I could happily watch a re-run of Valencia at their best.

We lost 1-0 at Anfield, Rufete was the scorer.

We lost 2-0 in the Mestailla, Baraja and Aimar were the scorers.

Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

Me too I'll let you know if i do..doubt it though

Incidentally, we obviously aren't mimicking Valencia...well we are..but correct me if i'm wrong, Rafa bases his style on the pressing Milan teams of the early 90s?

The pressing style has been evident for some time now, we simply haven't had the right wingers/attackers for it to be 100% successful e.g Scum at home last season. We now have those wingers

We've come a long way since that squad, huh AFII?

Rafa has done exceptionally well to transform the squad in 3 years with the funds he's had. People were always quick to point out our defficiencies last year/the year before, but they were problems Rafa was patently aware of, it seems.

So we ended up with Cheyrou as our only midfielder when Hamann was sent off, great

and we have blamed him for buying the wrong players and now we are the best team in the league and can win everything.

I found Aimars goal against us.

If Rafa can make us play like that, then I will be very happy.

Agree Ben, but this could be the start of a great season for us...and a period of dominance not seen since the 80s.
