on players I have seen in my 18 years of supporting the reds:
Pepe Reina - Missed Brucie at his best, the rest were cake.
Rob Jones - Class player, such a shame he was so unlucky with injuries
Jamie Carragher - Legend, hard as nails but is never sent off, class act.
Sami Hyppia - Great defender and seeing as I missed Hansen he is the obvious partner for JC.
Steve Nicol - Brilliant attacking full back. Could play absolutely anywhere.
Stevie MacManaman - Class, when he was on form he was unstoppable. Honorable mention for Ray Houghton.
Stevie Gerard - A leader, wish I had seen Souness play so I could compare them.
Xabi Alonso - The most naturally gifted player I think I have ever seen at anfield.
John Barnes - Wish I saw more of him before he got injured and fat, he could still pass the ball even then tho!
Robbie Fowler - What a player he was 10 years ago, his goal scoring record was incredible, different player these days but still a deadly finisher.
John Aldridge - A slightly controversial choice maybe but what a season he had with us! Owen scored more and was great, Rushy - I missed his best years, Kenny and Tosh look class from the vids, but Aldo's in for me, and he helped us beat England in Euro '88
