I actually think this is the best lineup for this one as technical players are less necessary. Also, Voronin and Crouch will want to prove a point.

If Crouch thinks he is deserving of more time on the pitch then now is his chance to deliver. Portsmouth like to play on the break with their pace up front so it should make for a lively game.

Rafa's picking a side that is on the same fitness levels that Pompey are at after the Internationals. He will bring on Gerrard and Torres IMO so I don't see any problems at all. Both of them don't need to settle into a game. And what could be better, Torres tiring out towards the end along with the Pompey defenders, or Torres coming on with 30mins to go full of pace and energy against the tired Pompey defenders?

I think it's about the freshest eleven we could get out on the field. No problem with the team at all.
