Poor performance, no real chance for us, infact Pompey should have won.

Benayoun was bloomin lightweight, Crouch might as well have been a tree planted at Fratton Park, Xabi and Momo continue to be enigma's in that you get one good performance and then a multitude of ordinary performances.

No imagination, spark or creativity, Rafa must also take a share of the blame, he should have put out the stongets side today and a weakish side at home next week.

So bloody frustrated...

What is he playing at? We want to win the league so this game is critical. Rafa can complain about early kickoffs but the scum played the strong team against Everton and won and what did he do? I love Rafa but he has to take the blame for 2 points dropped there. Benayoun was terrible....contributed absolutely nothing. Pompey were the better team and seemed to want it move at the end. Very disappointed. If you want to rest players do it in the home games, not the tough away ones!!!1

Rafa needs to play either Gerrard or Torres in every game this season. This BS of resting them both wont wash with us, we need match winners in the squad and those two are our 2 best

Exactly, other managers must scratch their heads - leaving both Gerard and Torres out - Shocking. Fergiescum would never rest Ronaldo and Rooney at same time against Pomey away, it's like Maureen resting Terry and Lampard.

It's one point gained the way I see as we've been under the cosh the last 15 or so mins, tiredness playing a big part IMO. We didn't play well today but we're still unbeaten and have a game in hand.

finally some common sense from andy gray, rafa choked it with his line up

agreed. does rafa not unsderstand that pompy away is one of the toughest places to go. i was ok with the team at the start, but that was more trying to be positive than anything else. today was lame. and andy gray was an absolute dickhead today. only said one thing that made any sense.

Last season we lost this fixture, the top 4 struggle at Pompey, we have done well getting a point. I wonder whether that is what rafa wanted, get a point there and concentrate on beating Brum next week.

Yes, we have some great players, but not all of them can play to win together. Fans were singing "The best midfield in the world" song, but in reality, we didn't have a clue what to do with the ball

Players looked very lethargic today......overall we were very subdued. Whether it was the heat, early kickoff, International break or whatever we looked very jaded but for one or two players...
