agreed. does rafa not unsderstand that pompy away is one of the toughest places to go. i was ok with the team at the start, but that was more trying to be positive than anything else. today was lame. and andy gray was an absolute dickhead today. only said one thing that made any sense.

Poor performance, no real chance for us, infact Pompey should have won.

Benayoun was bloomin lightweight, Crouch might as well have been a tree planted at Fratton Park, Xabi and Momo continue to be enigma's in that you get one good performance and then a multitude of ordinary performances.

No imagination, spark or creativity, Rafa must also take a share of the blame, he should have put out the stongets side today and a weakish side at home next week.

So bloody frustrated...

I didn't think Momo was bad today, I reckon he did his job well. If Benayoun and Pennant (whom I'm still not convinced by) pulled their fingers out and did their job Alonso would've looked a lot better. I say less talk from the players and more on the pitch.

Why pick that team today? Pompey away and you leave Torres, Gerrard and Babel on the bench?? They were there for the taking in the first 20 mins we just didn't have the right players on the pitch. IMO Rafa's biggest flaw is that he is too much a control freak, he would rather play the players he had time with this week then his best 11.

Had it not been for Pepe we'd have got **** all from that game and no-one could say we deserved better.

Gerrard, Masher, Torres, Kuyt, Babel are all in our first 11. Why the **** didn't rafa rest them against brum at home next week instead. We were a joke going forward today. Absolutely no pace and movement from our front two, Crouch was awful, no wonder rafa never plays him. We only looked a threat when Torres and gerrard came on. Play our best 11, win the game and take some of them off when the game is won.... It's no good having a good squad if the keeps messing with the team. A couple of changes at best not ******* 5 from our front 6. Ferguson played his best 11 against Everton FFS!!!!!!
