    Penalties

We never get any but we have conceded four, yes four already this season. These players need to learn to stay on their feet a lot more and not give the opportunity for the referee to give penalties.

Yes, the Chelsea one shouldn't have been given but thats still three penalties this season.

Pompey and Villa ones shouldn't have been given as well, in my opinion.

The Villa one was at least a very weak decision.

Pompey was a Pen buddy, but its just unlucky for us with all thess pens.......

Statistically we must be using up all our 'penalties-against'. We surely can't give away many more?! Good to get them out of the way.

Alternatively, maybe we'll actually give away 60 penalties this season.

Yes, we have given away 4 penalties which is very worrying, but we have yet to concede a goal from open play, which IMO, is outstanding, considering we have chopped and changed our back four and they have all done a job...

We've just been a bit unlucky I think, you could make a case for each of the previous 3 not being given.

I didn't see tonights game but I dont think its a case of defenders needing to stay on their feet because none of them have been given for sliding in and chopping players down.

Besides, in 99.999% of cases its physically impossible to put a pen past Reina anyway

I know its a cliche but these things do tend to even themselves out over the season.....

Styles' penalty against us evened out when Chelsea's goal was disallowed last match day in Prem. and they drew

Ball hit his hand, there was no intention at all to use it. He wasn't blocking a shot/cross with it as well. It just bounced off his hand when he tried to control it. Weak decision.

But it hasn't evened out for us personally yet has it?

Alright, two non-penalties and two genuine penalties then.

His arm was sticking out as he was turning and leaning, it was not intentional. The one against Pompey should be a penalty but you could feel agreaved by it as we are the only team to concede that type of pen as 99% of the time nothing is done.

Their player was offside before a contact was even made and the foul, even if there was, was outside the box.
