I can see the benefits of finding a potential replacement now but that would only work if Benitez goes out on a high, which doesn't tend to happen in football management. Normally a change of manager comes around when the existing management has become stale anyway, and everyone is glad of the change. If this is the case we wouldn't want a proto-Rafa and it would just be another high salary to pay offComment
