Good on him, he owes Mourinho **** all. Makes me laugh, all the arselicking by other managers, you'd think he'd been diagnosed with an illness and has a week to live or something.

What's all this got to do with Reading?.
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
May the Lord bless this post.

One, two, three, four...Originally posted by redblood View PostThat's what I was thinking he wasn't all him over like he was a long lost friend.
From Hank to Hendrix
I walked these streets with you
Here I am with this old guitar
Doin' what I do.
I always expected
That you should see me through
I never believed in much
But I believed in you.
Can we get it together
Can we still stand side by side
Can we make it last
Like a musical ride?
From Marilyn to Madonna
I always loved your smile
Now we're headed
for the big divorce
California-style.
I found myself singin'
Like a long-lost friend
The same thing that makes you live
Can kill you in the end.
Can we get it together
Can we still stand side by side
Can we make it last
Like a musical ride?
Sometime it's distorted
Not clear to you
Sometimes the beauty of love
Just comes ringin' through.
New glass in the window
New leaf on the tree
New distance between us
You and me.
Can we get it together
Can we still walk side by side
Can we make it last
Like a musical ride?
Thank you very much..

Fredo, we all know you like him. How many more times?Originally posted by fredo View PostMourihno is a brilliant manager, people should acknowledge that fact. I would love him as our manager one day, and most of you would accept him I'm sure. He knows football inside out and knows the psychology involved in football management ... It's just a game.
For what it's worth I think he's very good at what he does, he's no great tactical genius but he's good at motivating players and giving them breathing space to play (apart from Shevchenko that is).
I think his personal style would rather grate with 'the Liverpool Way' whereas Rafa's seems a perfect fit..

He was an arrogant ****** and at all times disrespectful has no dignity.Originally posted by fredo View PostJosé is a loss. I loved the man. He's developed such a bond with his players, one I'd like to see here, even though Rafa's done very well ... José's players would run through brick walls for him.
Don't mind a certain amount of controversy but he was just a terrible person.
I've said this before when he won the CL with Porto he was on the TV two minutes later saying he was leaving the club, at that moment I lost all respect for him. That was before any of his other bull**** with us and before I knew he was becoming Chelski manager.
He was a decent manager but a terrible persona with no manner.
Sadly missed my arse.

When has he ever told it like it is, the 'Team in blue was the best team'Originally posted by fredo View Post
He hates losing and he's demonstrative as ****, to the point where he would be ridiculed ... But I like that, he tells it like it is. Fantastic motivator of men, look at what will be happening at Chelsea now and that bond he created with the players ... In a way it may not be a good thing, if it rocks the boat for them.
But who cares ... Let's look at what our team can do, not others.
bolloxs mate he was full of **** .
