        Kuyt now our star left-winger.

Torres pulls wide and wins a corner with his pace.

10 corners to us and this is a waste as it is hit at the ref by Pennant, we retain the ball but the eventual cross is awful.

I'm playing all the right notes. Not necessarily in the right order. I'll give you that, sunshine.

Pennant in space, his cross is met by a flamboyant overhead kick by Torres that just dips over the bar. Would have been goal of the season.

Free kicks are so poor, bloody aimless might as well not have them because they are ALL wasted.
                  We come not to play.

Another flash of brilliance from our 20million man, had he started we'd be winning - just like last week. Good man Rafa!

Argh we've got to beat the likes of Birmingham at Anfield. We should be sticking three past these sort of teams

Kuyt should have been off instead of Crow

Kuyt on the left but our attempts to drive at their defence are stopped.

Birmingham counter but McSheffrey doesn't have the composure and slices a shot wide.
