Those 22 players are international footballers.It shouldn`t matter which of them rafa puts on the pitch,they should have the ability to beat Portsmouth or Birmingham.

To get a team to perform to the max you don't switch 6 players from one match to the next after 4 games. You get the team to perform as convincingly as possible and then you switch maybe 2 max 3 players. Fringe players that is!

We might have 22 international players but is that the same as 22 equally good players? Of course it's not. There should be a backbone og at least 5 players that you build around. 6/7 away. If you think that you can just **** about and change whomever/whatever position you got another thing coming than no. 19.

Mascherano and Xabi plays in the same position. Rafa plays Sissoko and Gerrard as box to box midfielders.

If Mascherano gets injured now with Alonso out then Gerrard can play in that position. He isn't as good there but he can act as a backup a few weeks without any problem with Sissoko or Lucas playing as the box to box midfielder.

The reason that I mentioned Riise, Sissoko, Crouch and Pennant is that we have better options than them.

Sissoko doesn't even play the same position as Mascher. Sissoko is not a HM and never will be. Momo is a Golden retriever running all over the park after the ball.

He is nowhere near good enough as a CM. We have Alonso and Mascher as HM. We have Gerrard and Lucas as creative CM for a lack of a better word.

The Golden Retriever, or Brains as others like to call him, is useful for exactly what? Not getting us no 19 - that's for sure.

Not every player in the squad needs to be Ronaldinho. Our squad is very strong, as good as Chelsea and Man United. The problem as I see it, has nothing to do with the quality of the players.

Our squad is not better than theres especially in the wings and up front.

Our exact problem is lack of quality in these positions.
It is so clear to see.
Left wing is a problem and you can see Leto,Aurelio,Riise,Babel and Kewell(if fit) playing there this year.This tells you we have nobody consistent enough to hold down the place with quality.We get nothing from the right as the stats have shown.Gerrard is our best player there by a country mile.

I back him 100% but the team comes first. He isn't good enough and every time he plays he takes time from someone who needs to play to be in top form.

I have not seen that much of Lucas but we need a creative player to play as the box to box midfielder and not a ball winner. Xabi and Mascherano are already doing that job.

Ehm...Momo is no replacement for Mascher. Xabi is more fit to play that role.
Momo needs a more diciplined midfielder beside him.

Is correct. Singing songs me da can just about remember isnt going to create an atmosphere. They need to get some new material that doesnt particulary have 14 verses. We have more than half the squad without a song or chant to their name. Get some new songs for the new team with simple enough words so every ****er can join in and then you'll get a better atmosphere.

This is true. Yesterday we couldnt string 2 passes together. Everyone was in the postions they had been told by Rafa etc and if the ball was delivered correctly (which should be the easy part) then we wouldve been ok. But no, it was Rafa's fault Mascherano can tackle eveyone yet cant pass the ball in a straight line for 10 yards.

With the exception of the freak 7-0 cup game, Birmingham always do the same against us and we always have a torrid time against them. I cant remember the last time we beat them at Anfield. They've won and got draws in the recent past. I knew yesterday wasnt going to be the hammering many had predicted. I thought we'd sneak it 1-0 and even then it'd be something special or a set peice.

Torres didnt play. So what. I know everyone on here to a man would be moaning if Torres gets burnt out. You'll all be on moaning and saying Rafa shouldve given whoever a chance and rested Torres. Well if you cant rest Torres at home to Birmingham then when can you rest him? Youre living on the past if you think he can play 60 odd games a season.

Fact is yesterday, the players were as much to blame than the manager. Gerrard did **** all, Mascherano couldnt pass, Babel played like he only learnt how to kick a ball that morning and the same could be said for all of them. Rafa cant kick the ball for them, he picks the team and you'd like to think that we had the quality to win yesterday and if you look at the team, we did have but for reasons only known to the players on the pitch, we didnt.

As Rafa is the team manager, surely he is in a better position than any of us to decide who is fit mentally and physically to play each and every game.

Sure we will disagree on who should start but we are only basing our opinions on what we see on the pitch rather than off it/Melwood/Domestics/Personal issues/Physio room etc.

I defy anyone to come on here and say they are better qualified tactically to pick the team.

1. Torres for me should be starting every premiership game home and away.(But what do I know)
2. Do not change a winning side. (But what do I know)
3. Be you own man and pick your own team based on what you know.
Even if others disagree. (But what do I know)

We all like to name teams and pick players,
so if you are fed up of going to the game and still want to have a pop then stop yer moaning and turn your attention to this and **** off away from Anfield to let someone else in who

****ing spot on mate, I think it's terrible that the ground was so quiet yesterday and that the lads got booed by a section of the crowd.
I understand disappointment but that is ridiculous we have had our best start in years and we boo our team off. What happened to the 12th man.
