not voting, couldn't possibly formulate an opinion based on our results so far, also you say 'cost us the league', which suggests we're good enough to win the league already, there's no way you can prove or disprove that, so the question is a bit silly really.

        Sh*te Thread.

Can we start a thread called "Will SG cost us the league???" because he`s supposed to be our captain leading from the front. He wasn`t in the last few games.IMHO.

It's not about that though Ved, it's about the worrying willingness to sacrifice points and chance things. Over the course of the season, it'll cost us far more than 4 points mate. I'm making these points now, because it's still early enough to sort out. I'm concerned though that the longer it goes on, the more difficult our task is going to become. I can handle dropping points, but when we do it through our own risk-taking, it becomes difficult to accept.

I can just you, 4 games from the end of the season, when we're 20 points behind, uttering a whimpered "We can still do it"....

If rafa has/is going to cost(sounds like you have already banked on us winning) us the league which we havnt in my opinion had a chance of winning since maybe if i stretch, the young mcmanaman, fowler, jones, redknapp(i wouldnt mind another 4 of those calibre players coming through)era and now people are saying he is going to cost us the league, he has been the man to turn us around and once again been a genuine force so what im really saying is if it wasnt for him we wouldnt be in this position in the 1st place,
              SO THERE

If the height of our objective is to be 'in with a chance' then yeah, rafa's succeeded. My expectations/hopes however, are somewhat above that.

Yes Rafa's done very will to build a team/squad that really can challenge.

Means bugger all though if he doesnt know how to use it.

If his rotation policy wont win us the league, and he insists on keeping it - what's the point in keeping him?

Unless of course, we alter our ambitions...

what do you expect at the moment then, to be definate champions after 6 games, get a grip with reality mate, no-one is guaranteed success unless ofcourse you can do better, Everyone is upset we never stuck 6 past the ****ers today but other teams who we beat will frustrate other top teams, chin up eh

I expect the manager to pick the team which gives us the most chance of winning.

Can i just point out for the record, someone on this thread all summer said we're not good enough to win the league.

Folowing the Derby match he started a thread sayign how e was wrong and Rafa can do it etc etc.

Now he's suggesting Rafa is going to cost us the league and that we should consider sacking Rafa.
I'll give you a clue, his username consists of 3 consonants
