    Ryan Babel

Never watched him till he signed for us BUT is it me or does anyone think he's very raw and certainly not ready to go straight into the first 11. It may be his style but to me he never looks in full control of the ball or his legs.........He's lighting quick and as got a powerful shot but at the moment thats it, hopefully in a year or 2 he'll become the player we need on the left/right/striker

He's as good as Pennant was when he came in, if not better. Babel is good enough for the left wing and he can push for a place on the right aswell. If he gets a season of 20-25 games in the prem then it will put him in much better condition for next year compared to a year on the bench or in the reserves
Contrary to popular belief, I have huge genitals.

I think his feet are moving quicker than his brain at the moment and that is why he is getting tangled up.Does that even make any sense?
He looks like a striker to me who has pace and power.
Oh the man is a midfield maestro
and his passes are sooo delightful
      everyone wants to know

He's a rough diamond from what I've seen mate.

He's shown flashes of brilliance for us and looked good in the U21 Champs this summer, and he's certainly got potential to be great, but obviously still adapting to the League.

Doesn't really help that whilst he's right footed, and prefers to play up front - Rafa is using him on the left wing

Yeah tend to agree there mate, he does look very raw and nowhere near the finished article..the lad has got talent but still along way to go. he needs time to settle
and then hopefully we will see him taking games by scuff of the neck and destroying defences.
Keep on rocking in the free world!

Hard life this...work monday - friday morning.....drunk Friday noon till sunday!

But he does have a much better first touch than Kuyt

He should play instead of Kuyt or Voronin as a striker.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

"Sky and Setanta have the right to choose their games and it will be the same for everyone. So Mr Ferguson will not be complaining about fixtures and a campaign against United.

"Or there is another option. That Mr Ferguson organises the fixtures in his office and sends it to us and everyone will know and cannot complain. That is simple."

                      Me too

He can be more effective than Babel on the left flank anyway :whatever:

I think hes an outstanding talent with the capability to be one of the very best.
He is very very raw though, and hes playing out of position.
This time next year will see a huge improvement in his game and i think he'll take the league by storm.

Provided he isnt rotated every other ****ing game of course.

Forgot to mention, IMO, I would put Babel up front and unleash some of that pace at defences and let them start worrying about us.
Id bench ****ing Kuyt for a few games to do it, he'd be far more of a goal threat from there anyway.

Torres & Babel is the future IMO.

Agree, would love to see Babel playing alongside Torres. They could be our strike force for the next 7-10 years
