and that is what happened the last seasons and it will happen again if Rafa continues to rotate the team for matches we may play in five months time.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

I reckon Rafa could get sacked come the end of the season...that's no understatement IMO

I've been saying that since the Porto game.

              Don't be silly now.

But I will say that rotating players, we they are playing well, and the team's playing well, has never made sense and never will do.

Yes rotate, but do it for the League cup game this week, not a league game.

The lack of form of certain players is worrying though. Steven Gerrard has been poor the last couple of games.

His decisions make no sense whatever. He's resting players for the league and playing them in Cup games. Then they say the League is the priority. It's stupid

We had a team capable of beating Birmingham City yesterday. Torres alone can't guarantee a win each time. What if we lose him through injury for a long time ? Are we fooked ?

He can't guarantee a win but he is our best striker. If the league is our priority then our best players have to start every league game to give us the best chance of winning.

                      Agree or don't agree?

I wouldn't be surprised if Rafa plays Torres on Tuesday. I'd be shocked and pissed off

I agree to a certain extent mate but I'm sure you'll agree that we should have beaten a team like Birmingham with the first 11 put out by Rafa last night. It just wasn't to be though, for a reason or another.

That's my concern, we were on fire pre internationals and should of carried on where we left off. And that ment playing the best side, we have 3 subs to replace flagging players and I carn't believe Torres and co were knackered beyond playing. IF they were rested for Portsmouth then they should of started against Brum.

A winning team won't be as tired as a loosing one

We need to stop this changing the whole team so early in the season lets get a winning team where the play makers know thier strikers inside out - then do what the mancs do swap the odd player who then slots in like they've been there forever.

We've rested Agger and Alonso in some games only for them to get 6 weeks rest
Its times like these we learn to live again FF

You need to play games to keep match fit so sorry Kaip, I don't agree with you at all.

Play the best players and they will give you a better performance because they will be match fit to do it.

Rest a player and he will need time to get match fit. Maybe not a whole game but he will need a part of the game to get up to speed again.

You've got the wrong end of the stick my skando buddy............All i'm saying is everyones having a go at the rotation policy BUT at the end of the day we are playing ****e at the moment

And just to clear it up, the rotation of our players pisses me off big time

but we're 6 games into a season with a new striker who could be one of the best, who's started well, we should be playing him against Brum - the more goals he gets the more scared other teams will be off him.

Rafa can't be stupid mate. I know where he's coming but as I said somewhere else, we maybe don't have the required quality to win the league yet. We've been maybe lauding this team too early into the season based on a couple of results against poor opposition.

I too would have wanted Torres playing yesterday but the player coming in for him must have took up the challenge but clearly we don't have the required depth in attack that people thought we had.

Babel is still learning the ropes, Yossi is in and out of the team, Pennant still have to up a notch, and apart from Stevie G in midfield we seem to miss a backup up driving force when he's not on song.

All in all I'm not worried yet as we're still 4 points off the top and we host Arsenal in a couple of weeks, which will be a crunch match already ... Lose that and we'll have a mountain to climb.
