Thanjk you.

Rafa should start him (barring injury) and then bring him off after he scores his 40th in the 67th minute
Just believe and you never know what will happen.
According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.
I wouldn't be at all surprised if he rests him. We've got a CL game next, no? He stayed on for the whole ninety-four and a half minutes whereas Crouchy went off after, what, 75?
If he rests him and we win, then fine. If he does and we don't then it's not fine. If he doesn't and we still don't then it's also not fine. That's what Mr. Benitez is paid for.
Neil, when I saw his name in the starting 11 I immediately thought Rafa would rest him against Wigan to keep him fresh for our CL game
And I totally agree with you, Rafa's paid big big money to make decisions and he deserves all the plaudits when they come off and all the criticism when it doesn't. That's football.
If he doesn't start on Saturday, I'll run around Manchester city centre, naked, chanting 'TORRES!' and 'Oh Manchester is full of ****'.
Thankfully for you and all of Manchester who I'm sure wouldn't enjoy watching you run around starkers, I reckon Rafa has no choice but to start Torres.

I think he will play against Wigan but not against Marseille. Rafa usually plays Crouch in the CL so it will probably be one Voronin/Kuyt against Wigan with Torres and the other one with Crouch against Marseille.

I must admit that when we paid £20 million for him I thought it was a ludicrous amount of money, I still do even now. But the boy is starting to re-pay it now. Tonight, is the first time in a LONG LONG time that I've felt like this about a Liverpool F.C. striker, he played brilliantly tonight he really did.
I admit I didn't know an awful lot about Fernando Torres before we signed him, I've never really watched him play on Spanish Football highlights and have only seen glimpses of him playing for the Spanish team from time to time but tonight I take my hat off to him. He was very good.
Not just tonight though, since he's played his first game for us he has been excellent, his hardworking attitude has won over Liverpool fans and also a lot of neutral fans aswell, he doesn't cheat, dive or whinge which is weird for a foreign player. You can just tell by the way he plays and the way he acts that he's a genuine sort of guy. I've really got a good feeling about Torres you know, I don't want to get carried away but he looks like he could be the one that brings the glory days back to Anfield. He's restored a sense of passion and belief in Liverpool fans.
You could see the joy on the faces of the Liverpool fans at the game tonight, as much as I hate saying it but he's inspiring us the way Ronaldo inspired Utd last season, and that can only be good! We've got a new hero who's going to be here for a while, we've taken him to our hearts and I feel he's done the same.
Really impressed I must say. Good on you Fernando Torres, let's hope you bring back the good times.

Even first half he showed touches and made runs where I turned to my mate and said 'he's ****ing good'
I knew he was skillful. I knew he was quick-ish. Never realised how strong he was, how much work he did and just how blistering he was. All 3 goals were superb.
Simply brilliant.

Agreed with everything you said after this....but WTF? You still think it was a ludicrous amount of money? If anything, at £18m (as the Echo insist), he's a ****ing BARGAIN!!
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Honestly it will be painfull watching our other strikers play when Torres in on the bench. He is electric and is everything a striker should be.
Crouch looked like a snail beside him tonight.
Torres and Gerrard up top. They have total respect for each other and link so well.
Oh the man is a midfield maestro
and his passes are sooo delightful
everyone wants to know

I genuinely think i'm in love with Fernando Torres
