Torres physical strength reminded me of Drogba last night. I knew he was strong but not that strong. Coupled with his natural ability and pace we've got some player on our hands.

Colly was very good for us and his partnership with Fowler was probably the best we have had since Aldo/Rushie/Kenny.

Torres seems to me to be a different type of striker to what we have ever had before.

He has the work ethic of Rush, the finishing of Fowler and Rush and Owen, the power and strength of Collymore, and the pace of Rush and Owen, and his link up play seems to be better than any of those. He is excellent at almost all aspects of the game (though he's not scored with his head yet).

Now I know it's one game against Reading in the Carling Cup but boy he looked good. He got kicked all over the place and at times he had 3 or 4 defenders round him but it just made him more determined.
