That's fair enough, but maybe, for specific games, they do such specific things we don't know about (I'm guessing here, but something like 'You Dirk, you will run from here to here, pulling X and Y out of position and you, Andriy, will then do X and Y and Z. If opposition player S and T do this, then you, Dirk, will fall back, do this and that, whilst you Andriy will run into this space here and do this, whilst Stevie, you run into space here and do this and that).

And for them to get an understanding right and getting these specific (and I'm very very certain that Rafa has incredibly specific tactics down to the blade of grass they're going to be executed on) orders right takes more than just a few games - practice makes perfect or something.

Obviously, we don't have all the time in the world. But it's still early days, Andriy hasn't really been here that long so I think it just takes a bit of time; there is however always the possibility that they just don't match, who knows? But, we cannot judge this after just a handful of matches into the season, sorry.

And I am quite certain that what I have written is - give or take - pretty much what Rafa's stance is as well: Perfection; Rotating without a hint of difference to the overall harmony and prowess of the team. Otherwise, why the **** do you think he continues to rotate and sometimes comes short (ie. B'ham, P'mouth)? Because that's EXACTLY what he believes in and it is EXACTLY as he will continue to do until he has achieved said situation or either leaves the club.

Most of our play went through Torres last night and so PC had to feed on the scraps - so to speak. Much the same happens with Chelsea and Drogba - and their second striker (Sheva) has to feed off said scraps.

I have no doubt that come next season - PC will be at another club.

We need a more mobile striker too and one which will challenge Torres properly for his place. I'm sick of hearing people moaning about rotation. In that sense, packing the squad with more quality players will put that to rest.

A lot of people couldn't have been watching the game last night! crouch did very well at holding the ball up and making space for others. showed some very neat footwork and has exceptional control/first touch. ok, he didn't score - but he's still our 2nd best striker. Give ANY of our strikers cameo appearances after being automatic first choice and they're confidence will go. We can't go getting rid of players who aren't in form or it's goodbye to half the squad!
