All I added was a balanced view on Rafa. Every manager has made mistakes including Wenger, Fergiescum and Mourinho.

Not sure about other people but all's I said was that he was wrong to bench Torres on Saturday. I'm not going to just say Rafa is the best manager in the world just like I'm not going to say he's the worst

Football is a game of opinion. In my opinion he made a mistake on Saturday which hopefully he's learnt from. That's all I've said. The comment on missing out on the title by 2 or 4 points was in response to Coops calling people Ballbags just because they don't praise Rafa all the time. Of course those two games won't be the be all and end all of the title race

When he makes a mistake there's no harm in people on here saying he has done so.

He's done brilliantly since he's been here and put us back to a high level where we can actually talk about winning the title now. I was thrilled when we were first linked with him and I have no doubt he is up there with the world's best. But he does make odd decisions now and then and that's all I've said...not asked for him to be sacked because of one game

He didn't say that, he said people who are looking for Rafa's head after 1 bad result, while we are still unbeaten and well in the title race are Ballbags and I wholeheartdley agree.

I remember listening to a ring in on Merseyside at the back end of Geds time. The geezer come on and stariaght away went 'Today was terrible, I hope someone breaks the ***** legs'

How long before we get to that stage?

I think we'll have to remain unbeaten for the season before any get that up set.

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

Most of the arguements haven't been about the result, well ok it contributes but for me it's the performance, the tactics the general bewilderment Benitez causes with his selections. If we had played our best with our best team available(and not resting them for a league cup game????) and still got those results against Pompey and Birmingham - and i believe we'd have won them both - then i wouldn't be as critical about benitez as i am.
