    ****in hell

Love the fact that Rafa's looking to the future by recruiting all these kids. I know it's a nightmare remembering them all, but I can't wait to see what the next five years brings

Liverpool have infuriated Spanish giants Real Madrid by taking the best prospect from their youth academy in a case that has shades of Cesc Fabregas's move to Arsenal.

Argentine midfielder Gerardo Bruna, 16, was being nurtured by Madrid as a future Galactico, but Rafa Benitez's chief scout, Paco de Gracia, has persuaded the youngster to sign a four-year deal with Liverpool.

Real are smarting after being outwitted by their former employee, De Gracia, who originally discovered the teenager while he was working at the Bernabeu. Midfielder Bruna is regarded in the same league as Fabregas, who Arsenal took from Barcelona at the age of 16 in almost identical circumstances.

Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

Pissing off Real Madrid is always approved by me

Looks like we stole someone special from them.

Rafa has said the same thing to alot of our latest new young arrivals though. Great that we are getting some top youngsters in, but I wont get excited until i see them paying in the first team.
Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'

"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.

I begun to think that we have signed a lot of kids from all over the place in the hope that a couple will come through to the first team and even if they don't, a nice sell on fee wouldn't hurt.

Its highly unlikely that they all will come through but by signing players from under the noses of Real Madrid, you have to think that this might be one that will make it through.
Twin boys - now arriving late August 2008.

Its gonna be Fernando and Gerrard if I get my way!

If he is the same class as Fabregas then he will play in the league very soon, maybe not this season but next.

So we have three excellent prospects, Insua, Pacheco and Bruna.

                      The future is looking

                        This is pretty ****ing exciting.

Add Bruna to a list of great young potential, notably Duran, Pacheco, Pourie, Nemeth...plus slightly more 'senior' players like Lucas and Insua. Fantastic work from Rafa and the scouting department.

SURELY one of the these, at least, will make the breakthrough...
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’
