a hard fought one nil win away from home isn't it?
Especially at a cold, horrible place like Wigan.
Played a bit ****ty but feck it the three points are in the bag
Sometimes more satisfying when we play **** and win in a weird sorta way.
Come on mate, you don't have to read it. As someone else said, put him on ignore. Having a go at him at every opportunity isn't justified. I've laughed/cried/rolledeyes/bangedheadonwall at some of Marky's posts, but he's one of us.
Yeah the psychology of the tight 1-0 win is odd. It is great to see us nicking one.
The problem is United have been sneaking them all season so far. Although I think like in our case of late the points collected should not be allowed to hide the fact neither side have been being playing well enough to win the league.
Do you realise you quoted yourself, or have I missed your point?
I actually do get his point.
I've got nothing against Marky for starters. I think he's a great lad ... BUT, more and more people are opening threads lately in this section that are more or less pointless.
For instance, we draw a game and in few hours, you see threads like these:
Thread #1: "Draw isn't a bad result"
1st post: "Come on guys, I don't think that this draw is going to end our title challenge. Chins up, ok?"
Thread #2: "So, a draw against Pompey - not a bad result!"
1st post: "I know that many of you wont agree with me, but I actually think that this draw wasn't so bad."
Thread #3: "Draw - Pompey away, ain't that bad"
1st post: "We're still in it and we still have to concede a goal from open play. Come on guys, this draw wasn't so bad.
Thread #4: "My thoughts on a draw v Pompey today"
1st post: "You know what fellas? I'm not that bothered! Manchester lost here last season so this 0-0 result ain't that bad!"
and so on ...
I'd understand if these threads popped-up at exact same time. But seeing these threads created in a span of a day or two, it REALLY is lame! All these posts could be gathered in one, already existing thread called "Post match reaction" or something. Those threads really are waste of space, but then again, I don't really read all of them so I don't care
I can see that point of view but it is a job for the mods though surely to decide about whether a thread is repetitious and unecessary - and to be fair there was an angle in Marky's post which might have derailed other conversations about aspects of the match. I don't see why anyone would want to be so needlessly antagonistic - the boring post match threads will die a natural death if you leave them and at some point if the threads have too much over lap a mod will unite them.
It's not as if any other threads are getting lost in the frenzy of activity tonight as a result of the threads.

The only thing that I hate is that those threads (mentioned in my previous post) have max. 15-20 replies ... And then, when no one leaves a reply, they go down the pecking order ... And just as they would go off the screen to the page 2, someone writes "" or "" and it's the first thing on the main page again ...
Its frustrating

Oi what's wrong with Wigan?
We managed to rectify it, though, because it now says, "Cook" where it once said "Cock", and "Pass" where it once said "Piss", so it’s slightly less rude.
Well i've not been myself but it has been said it's a bit of a dump of a place
