I can see that point of view but it is a job for the mods though surely to decide about whether a thread is repetitious and unecessary - and to be fair there was an angle in Marky's post which might have derailed other conversations about aspects of the match. I don't see why anyone would want to be so needlessly antagonistic - the boring post match threads will die a natural death if you leave them and at some point if the threads have too much over lap a mod will unite them.

It's not as if any other threads are getting lost in the frenzy of activity tonight as a result of the threads.

Why is it a **** thread though? I understand a lot of lads on here give marky stick cos he seemed to be the "****" of 6cm. From what I saw this was unwarranted and was a lot of lads being sheep by having a go at EVERYTHING he said regardless of what merit it carried because it was fashionable and scored brownie points with ryan and brenda.

He DOES post some ****e yes, but dont we all, I know I do(probably more than most) but judge him on WHAT he posts rather than the person who posted it.

I`m still waiting for someone to explain what is so wrong with this thread he has started other than the fact that markys name is next to it.

Be honest, if Revo had started this thread and posted the exact same words, would most of you been having the same pops? no you wouldnt, so give the lad a chance eh

I`m talking about THIS thread. The Gerrard thread was **** for obvious reasons but I dont see why this one was slated. If people are gonna slag him then slag him when its warranted, ****sake he gives enough ammo for it, but why do people still slag him when he starts a thread that is nothing more than praising liverpool for winning an away game?

Boy who called wolf. Somone talks **** all the time then when he says something worth reading it will get ignored. I'm not trying to be horrible to Marky but you would have thought after the billionth thread he might have learnt which is why he opens himself up for attack on a thread that actually makes sense, regardless.

Jesus sorry Marky lad for starting all this off. I was only taking the piss, not out of you, but everyone. After every match there's about 10 threads that start and the same ****e is being said in all of them. You did make a good few points
