It's just not working - this is his team now, they know what he wants to do(well i guess they do cause i don't) but yet they are looking like a clueless bunch of footballers. That's a bloody good team out there but they just don't know how to play. Some say we miss Alonso, i honestly don't think he would make a difference - he'd look just as lost.

I think the key is that we are trying to play without a defensive MF. The idea seems to be that Gerrard and Sissoko both go forward and both defend. Which would be brilliant if it worked, but at the moment it isn't.

Leto is so off the pace I can't tell what game he's playing in, but has made some good tackles. Crouch doesn't seem to realise that he has to start running before the pass is made, especially with those legs.

People go on about our football being so much better under Rafa but this season our attacks have all focused on the ball going centrally and, of late, hoofing it up to the two strikers hoping they can make something happen.
