Realistically to sign in January, that would make all the difference.

I'm going to turn a deaf ear to the 'we need a tricky winger' brigade and go for Dimitar Berbatov. Two top quality strikers on the pitch at the same time would make us a far greater threat. Seems to be the ideal partner for FT as he can thrive on different types of service, can score as well as set up and with changes looming at the lane, he probably fancies a move to us or another big team in the Champions League.

I think I must be one of the only people who doesn’t actually think that much to Berbatov. Yes he scored quite a few goals last season but I don’t know, I just didn’t get all the hype. I think I would actually have Defoe and Keane over him (I think I might get shot down for that)!

As for who would I go for, I actually don’t know exactly apart from I think we need a left sided midfielder. Actually I think, and I’m sure I will get shot down for this, I would go for Joe Cole!

I've not seen a huge amount of him but Foggia of Cagliari would be a possibility. I think we could do with a player on the wings - I'm not sure of who really fits the realistic January target bill. If we had someone to play on the left Babel could add another option up front.

He is right winger that can also play as the second striker. Plays for Torino and he will leave either in January or in the summer.

Quick but not super quick, good vision, good crosser, very skillful and a good finisher.

One player wont make a huge amount of difference in all honesty. If we do sign someone it wont be a really big money move as all those players will be cup tied.

If it was me I would go for Fabricio Coloccini as defensive cover or maybe take a chance on Diego Milito and sell Peter Crouch.

I thought we could buy one player who had played in the Wafer and register them for the Champs League?

Heitinga is a realistic signing in January and would offer good cover for the back four.
