Lets all calm down guys. It was not a great performance but it was no Marseille either. We should have been 3-0 up but we did not take our chances. I thought we played well until that 2 goal robbie keane salvo. It was one of those days where every shot was going inches wide. Some of our movement in the first half was neat.

If there was anybody whom I would blame it would be Hyppia, Carra and Gerrard. For a time in the second half I thought it was Mascher who was the attacking midfielder.

I really really hope Gerrard pulls out of the England Game. He needs to rest and come back with all cylinders firing. This team is crying out for him.

We conceded 2 long ball goals either side of half time. Very unlike us.

After that we had no cohesion or composure. It was Helter Skelter nonsense.

I'll say it again; **** Pennant, Riise and Kuyt right off. Absolute ****e.
      Crouch too.
Oh the man is a midfield maestro

In fairness I missed the first 35 mins. So after that Spurs were robbed

Manager's fault - he needs to stop f*cking about with the 1st 11.

The lack of cover for Sami is costing us dear. Way too much hoofing from the whole back four.

Good question. For me Benayoun is a squaddie and we don't have anyone good enough for our right wing.

the sooner the better. Another squaddie at best.

Kuyt and Crouch don't deserve a place at present. Babel & Torres ir Voronin and Torres would be my choice. But again, don't have a regular partner of sufficient qualty for Torres.

No change there. That's the only thing he doesn't rotate

We need to beat all the top 4 now. Dropping points at home to the likes of Spurs & Brum will cost us, no doubt.

Why Rafa has bought so badly is key areas is just beyond me.

Forgot to mention this. Noticed this too. Very strange.

By the way Pennant was shocking and isn't Liverpool quality. Too many poor final balls, dodgy temperament and absolutely no goal threat whatsoever. But apart from that he's okay.

I'll go with that. Sorry to say I had high hopes for Kuyt - but just not good enough for our 1st 11. In fact, I'd add Benayoun, Crouch as a minimum to that list.

Correct. If you draw most of your games you are more likely to get relegated than finish in top four, let alone win the league.

I think it's because Mascherano has not got as much pace as Gerrard and Gerrard is being asked to cover for the lack of pace at the back.

But we were 2-1 down, and Gerrard is by far our biggest goal threat from midfield.

I hope that isn't the case. Because if it was that would be absolute madness.

January can't come soon enough. Though Rafa needs to buck up his ideas a bit. He's pissing me off with his tinkering and needless rotating.

You must be joking regarding Babel?

He frustrated me once again. I really don't get what people see in him. He is so flipping clumsey. How many times have you seen him beat a player on the outside? I could probably count on both hands if I'm lucky.

And before the clowns jump on my back and attack me with the "knee jerk" comment :whatever:, I have felt this for sometime. I was never really impressed with what I saw of him before he joined us.

its easy to feel down now but it seems to be the same every year. no matter how much money we spend, we still dont seem to be getting any where near where we need to be.

another loss today (and given where spurs are it should of been 3 points) and we're 6 points off, and no matter the late draw, our good start and optimism have faded.

we can blame the international break, or the fact that pako left, but at the end of the day we need results, and soon, starting across the park when we play everton. anything but a win there would be an absolute tragedy. we need 3 points against the bitters, and 3 against arsenal to be on for a title challenge.

i'm not going to go down the route i saw so much after marseille in tearing the team apart, but this slump we're in needs turned around in our next three games if we want to count ourselves as challengers in the prem and CL

i agree completely. Hope that this season isn't a dejavu of the infamous 2002-03 season when houllier f***ed everything. Hope that this season will not the case of going a step onwards and 2 backwards.

We are not unbeatan. So bloody what? At home we only got 6 points from 12!!! and the opposition apart from chelsea where average.

Then he's not much use as a defensive midfielder is he? Bring back Sissoko!

I think he's got the ability that others haven't to make an impact.

For starters he can control the ball and beat a man.

Let me ask you mate. Would you rather start with him - talented but yet to prove himself - than either Pennat or Riise who we both know aren't up to it?

Keano & his family are all Reds :-(

Whats with players these days, they can spend their lifetimes supporting a club and then turn around and stick 2 in the back of the net against them
Not blaming Robbie for todays result though..... Thats Rafa's problem
