He frustrated me once again. I really don't see what people see in him. He is so flipping clumsey. How many times have you seen him beat a player on the outside? I could probably count on both hands if I'm lucky.

And before the clowns jump on my back and attack me with the "knee jerk" comment :whatever:, I have felt this for sometime. I was never really impressed with what I saw of him before he joined us.
I think most people accept he's very raw. he's certainly no "Henry" ( ) or even a C.Ronaldo ( :whatever: ) but he's talented. He has a lot of attributes which could make him a great player in the future if he develops his game.
I've said on a few occasions that he's not ready for the first team and maybe that's why he doesn't start that often. I think his natural position is up front not on either wing as he's not a tricky winger. He's more of a "hit them on the break" player for me

Do you count Roy Keane as part of Keano's family?

I do and I have a little trouble accepting that he is a red.

              Why?

Why do Arsenal and the scum entertain as you watch them play ?

Why are we creatively so weak?

Is it only a question of money???

Me too Marcus - never really saw what all the fuss was about. I'm pleased we got him, but I see him as "one for the future" rather than a 1st 11 winger right now - which is what we need right now.

Rafa's reluctance to go and get a proven quality LM and/or RM (Quaresma, Mancini, Alves etc), and settling for the likes of Leto, Pennant and Benayoun is really costing us. Same with Crouch, Vornin and Kuyt.

I still wonder why we play a wing back system when our right/left back don't attack often enough down the wings.

Our so called wingers cuts inside a lot and that means that our fullbacks should attack down the wings. It was only the last ten minutes Finnan did that and it was also then we started to create chances in the second half.

                  Very strange.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

                    The Internationals curse

Right, so we've been pretty much **** since the last batch of international games. So I'm predicting with this weeks int games, we end our run of crap games and the curse is lifted.

Thats my bit of positiveness for the forums. Now buy me a keg.

                      Shame on you man :-(
Wenger & Ferguson are different managers to Benitez (not implying anything of course ;-))

Nope, it's a question of players, confidnce and managerial tactics plus the opposition you're playing against. You can't entertain against a flat back nine.

Did you watch the SCUM in their first 3 games?

Not blaming Robbie for todays result though..... Thats Rafa's problem
If he and his family are such big LFC fan, why did Keane turn down the chance to join Liverpool when we tried to sign him just before he signed for Spurs?.
Anyway, his loss, what has he won since then, and then ask what have we won.
Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'

"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.

Its got nothing to do with the internationals - its a question of player motivation and poor man management ..... Rafa doesnt address the human dimension - Paco did - we lack someone with people skills to deal with the players
