Xabi was handing out awards at half time today and looked fine. He was walking perfectly so he can't be that far away.

How long did Rooney take? I don't think it was much less than Rafa is forecasting.

I would be tempted t throw him in at Goodison if there's no chance of him doing any further damage. We've missed both him and Agger big time.

I don't think rafa will. Xabi is too important (as we have just begun to realise).

Thing is - we can't afford another Goodison debacle as we had last year.

more more its looking like a cup season...provided that we can even qualify for the next round of the CL that is. does anyone here know when does platini's proposed qualifying berth changes actually takes into effect.the rate we are going we might not even make the top 4 now.

I don't care what anyone says, this continual rotation of the team is the reason for our poor form. Players need to play regularly, so that partnerships can be formed. Upfront, this contiual rotation is doing nobody any favours. You can't play different combinations every game and expect players to perform. Good striking partnerships take time to gel, how can ours gel when we continually change them. If rotation is so important why is the defence never changed as much. I'll tell you why because, they need to play together regularly to develop the required understanding. Its the same in my view all over the park.

Now come the end of the season Rafa may be proved right. Whilst our title opponents are running out of steam we may fly past by them, with playrs as fit as daisies. But if we don't then as much as I like Rafa, I'd give him the ultimatum.. play our best players most of the time or we will never win the league.

Players playing ****, is the reason we are playing bad.

We got 82 points in the league, reached two CL finals and won a CL and FA Cup w/rotation so I think you are talking BS

One thing which surprised me is that we were trying to walk the ball into the net with Paul Robinson in the goal. Considering the number of 30 yard shots Robinson has let in this season, I thought we would be trying to get a number of long distance shots in. Mascher had the right idea in the second half when he turned and shot. I guess thats why Rafa gave Risse a start in LM. For him to take a couple of long distance shots at goal.

The last thing a goalkeeper low on form needs is a 30-40 yard stevie screamer twisting and turning at him. Outide of the freekicks stevie barely tested the goalkeeper, that disappointed me.

In my view the players are underperforming because of the continual changing of the team. I don't believe so many players, playing so poorly over 5 or 6 games now is a coincidence. Its not bad luck these things happen. Its clear somethings wrong at the club and I think that in part is down to the rotation policy.

As for Rafas record at LFC, i'm not knocking that at all, but i don't beleive you can win the league by making 5 changes for every game.

i believe we dont really enough quality out there...players like ,pennant ,risse, sissoko, kuyt, crouch, aurelio ,leto hyppia(now) wouldnt make it into teams like chelsea, scum. i dont really know why our standards have to be otherwise.perhaps the cash wasnt really there with the stadium being built. i certaintly hope that is the reason cus i honestly dont wanna see any of them around the next season..till we have some real quality on the field 19 will always be a far cry

                              67 now this season.

Gerrard should play on the right with Mascherano and Alonso in the middle week in week out as soon as Alonso is back.

I'm a little surprised that Rafa didn't had a plan B ready in case Agger got injured. His system crashed just because one defender is out, that is really not any good.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

Stevie G has played all of the last few games, and he's been ****. That's got nothing to do with rotation and a whole lot to do with why everyone has been crap, they've had neither the possesion or the service.

Carra and Hyypia were **** today and that has nothing to do with rotation either.

I think your theory is niave.
