you really cant compare wenger success in the transfer department compared to rafa. for the same amount of money of even less i believe wenger has a better record.but what i'm really saying right now is that the market rate is such that you probably need to spend in excess of 15 million to get a class act.alonso was bought when the market wasnt that inflated.and that was 3 seasons ago. the money is more now...in terms of tv rights, sponsorships and so forth. and being a premiership team, the selling team know where we stand right now. No time to be SKINT from here on....you pay peanuts ..you get monkeys...i know thats a bit harsh but im just keeping it real

Id hardly say he bought the finished Article with Hleb 24 and Adebayor 22, Wenger has brought through some good players like, Henry, Anelka, Vieira, Eboue, Van Persie, Denilson, Bendeter and Hoyte being some other ones, and its not just about bringing in players its about how the team plays as a collective unit which all of Wengers players do, and as for the Argument about buying him as a Striker whoever said tha, tha is alod of Bollocks, Carra used to be one, every football on earth was a Striker near enough at some point in there youth carrer, but they dont all play there.
