        We have two players who is good enough to play there, Mascherano and Alonso. Sissoko, Gerrard and Lucas isn't good enough as a holding midfielder. Torres can play there but he is probably crap in that position.

        Mascherano should play there week in week out until Alonso is back.
        Just believe and you never know what will happen.

        According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

            I only explained why I mentioned Torres playing as a holding midfielder in an earlier post.

                    Playing Mascherano allows Alonso to play in his right position, one step higher up the pitch as a midfield playmaker.
