    Scott Carson

He’s in good form for Villa, Martin O’Neill wants to keep him.
It would be good business to sell him at the end of the season imo

He’s in the middle of his Liverpool contract, and most likely won’t be happy playing long term second fiddle to Reina.

As a potential future English ‘keeper he would fetch a pretty penny- cash that could be put toward improving other areas of the team.

Time to let him go ?

Definitely time to let him go at the end of the season.

If Craig Gordon can fetch £9m, then we should be demanding similar for Carson. He only cost £750K, so for once it'd represent a great piece of transfer business.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Rafa played a blinder signing him to a long term deal then loaning him out.

We should get a good fee for him.

Shame to see him go cause he's a decent keeper, too good to be a 2nd but if we get a massive fee for him then good business and we have a world class keeper already and hopefully Martin will develop and be close to first team in a few years thats if he can beat up Snipes to get on the bench

The money they get should probably finish off their last payment of the transfer fee for Fowler

shame, I do like the lad and think that he could have been a quality signing for us. But with Reina in good form and being so young, cant see Carson becoming a regular.

The lad deserves a chance next season. Pepe still worries me at times, and id swap 3 other prem keepers for him in an instant.

Carson's a good keeper, just not as good as Pepe. I wouldn't swap Pepe for any keeper around right now.

                    Sell Carson.

No point keeping a player that don't want to stay.

                    Hmmm......

£20m+£8m(Crouch)+£5m(Riise)+£10m(Carson)+£10m (Sissoko).....£53m. We will soon be able to sign Kaka
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

Pepe's a good keeper but still has problems with crosses. He's good but not in Cech's class for my money. Cech along with Schmeicel (sp), Clemence and Southall is as good as I've seen

                          You think?

I tyhink he is ridiculously commanding at crosses. He comes out and makes sure he gets there, even if there are five players in the way, he just flattens them. His punching of the ball is second to none.

I can't remember the last time he conceded from a cross that he came out for. Unlike the Reading game...
                          Oh I don't know.

                            Signed him for £750k.

We've got a £2m fee for loaning him out for the season? No doubt we got something similar from Charlton last season as well, we haven't paid his wages for 2 years and we'll probably sell him at the end of the season for at least £5m.

Blinding business if you ask me, especially as he'll get nowhere near a regular starting berth while Pepe's at Anfield.

Shame as he'd make a great number 2, but at least we'd have made a big profit on him.

Call me biased and others might not agree but I actually can't think of a better keeper currently playing. Cech's a class keeper but even he makes the odd mistake. imho, Cech and Pepe are the best two in Europe but I'd still go for Pepe.
