      You..??
Incredibly boring so I made my excuses.

Spearing MoM says the offal, sounds like Lucas did alright as well, looking forward to the highlights.

Don't tell me you got up from your chair to watch the game, Shaggy?

No old boy, I watched it IN my chair.

It wasn't very near me...Northwich is virtually ****ing Crewe!

Well, I didn't want you to forget that you refused to move 500 meters to see this game last year.

Just watching it now on Sky+. Has that Brouwer lad knocked over Fairclough's dog or something? Every touch he gets the copper-topped one's there with a sly dig or a sigh of disappointment. It's a bit annoying really.

Happily though we've just been informed that Jack Hobbs is "too strong for Dong". Which, if I was him, I'd get printed on a t-shirt.

I watched the game last night and I was impressed with Leto, Insua, Spearing and Hobbs.

Lucas I thought had a poor game and he clearly can't play in the role behind the striker like AFII has suggested.

I would like to see insua get a chance in the first team. Hes got great pace.

I thought he gave the ball away a lot.

Perhaps I'm expecting to much but for someone who is Brazilian player of the year I would expect a little more.

                        So would I.

I think he's good enough and we need to start pushing him a bit now.

                            Ditto.

I think people were a little swayed by the hype when watching the game as he was outshone by some of the other guys on the field.

In fairness to him, he was played in a bit of an awkward position and didn't look too comfortable up front (perhaps that'll put the silly myth of him being a Kaka type player to bed). He was dropping deep a lot and at times alternating with Spearing, but even when he was playing deeper, he didn't really impress that much.

A 6M, "Brazilian Player of the Year" should be owning games like that, but instead, he just blended in - not what you'd expect at all.

Seems to me people are expecting too much too soon from Lucas. He looks a good player to me, who will only get better once he adapts and starts to learn the language. People may scoff, as he cost so much, but these things matter. You can’t just expect him to waltz into the reserve team, in games played on not very good pitches in front of hardly anybody, and immediatley start playing like Zinedine Zidane.

Shame though, but let's hope he gets going with some goals soon.
