    and he refuses to apologise.

i would think that if he carries on refusing to apologise for things then the BBC really should stop using him.

but they wont. I have complained on more than one occaison to the BBC about him (its the only thing i have ever written in to complain about anywhere)

Question Time, BBC One, 11 October

        Publication date: 12 Oct 2007

        Complaint

We received complaints from some viewers that Kelvin Mackenzie's comments about Scotland were offensive and that he was an inappropriate choice of panellist.

        The BBC's response

Kelvin Mackenzie was a high profile former editor of a tabloid newspaper - and current columnist - with strong opinions.

We have had a number of complaints about the views he expressed last night. The production team were not aware in advance that he was going to make remarks about Scotland and it was not the subject of the question asked. His view was robustly rejected both by other panellists and members of the audience. David Dimbleby pointed out that his Sun column is not carried in the Scottish edition of the paper.

The programme is pre-recorded but is only edited to deal with legal or technical issues. His views did not fall into that category and it would not therefore have been appropriate to edit them out.

Question Time considers him to be a suitable panellist since the programme is committed to including a wide range of views and perspectives. His views are controversial - but robust argument is what the debate on Question Time is all about. There is no question of the BBC or Question Time endorsing the views of any panellist who appears on the programme.

          Mackenzie?!

          What to say?

The fact the BBC lets him on to spout his hateful, Xenaphobic (sp??) views is a joke as it is but to be honest, i'm past caring now.

The fact still remains if I ever bump into him i'll physically ruin his life. I've always said if I ever got the chance I wouldn't think twice about destroying him and I still maintain that fact. Whatever i got as punishment would be worth it just to see his crippled ass lay paralised on the floor twitching like the window-licking **** i'd make him!

Stay away from the north you horrible little ****e cause you sure as **** won't be going back down south! if you do you'll be spending the rest of your days in sunny south-east England drinking through a straw being tended to be house keepers who i'll make sure will make your remaining days the worst of your life!
