I agree. It would take millions to replace a player like Finnan and even then it would probably be some over paid foreigner who couldn't tackle his way out of a paper bag. Finnan is a Liverpool fc legend and I've seen nothing this year to suggest that he's even close to losing it.

I really dont see what all the fuss is about, where Taylor is concerned. He`s error prone. I know he`s young, but IMO we need better than him if we are to really challenge Carra and Agger.

PS agree with anyone who said Finnan is class. Teams hardly attack us down his side of the pitch FFS. That is a damn good indicator of how good he is.

I agree Finnan has been a rock at right back and will continue to be so for a couple of years at least, However Arbeloa is the covering right back and when the time is right he'll fit the bill perfectly.

I hope so. I havent seen Alvaro play the sort of killer ball that Finnan does from time to time. Finnans cross to Torres against Spurs was to die for.

As bad as the Irish game was Finnan's crossing and his goal were excellent, great if he could carry on scoring on Saturday
