Thanjk you.

oh i agree about Momo. I never would have replaced Gerrard no matter what as he can pop up at anytime with some magic.
I dont believe it was a Rafa masterstroke either though as it was two penalties that won the game, and nothing else.
I'd say master stroke is a bit of an exaggeration, but the substitution did have an effect on how we played. I am as you are, a bit baffled at sissoko staying on the pitch for so long. Hopefully Juve have not had scouts watching him lately and are still interested.
Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'
"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.
* After Tommy Lawrence had let in a fluke goal between his legs
I think Rafa has stiffled him to be honest. Almost as if Rafa has said conserve your energy
It is a valid point Dan.
I would say, Rafa has effected Gerrard central midfield playing ability. Gerrard, before Rafa came, and for a while when Rafa was here, was one of the finest midfielders in the world, and had the potential to be the worlds best.
Rafa seen Gerrards energy and decided, it was wasted in a disciplined holding midfield role prefering Gerrard to use his energy in attack instead. What we do have though, is one on the most versatile midfielder in the world.
Personally, if I was asked what Gerrard's best position is, I would not say the Alonso/Mascherano role, but I would say the Sissoko role, which is particularly baffling considering how **** Sissoko is.

Yeah but Bazza what is Sissoko's position? He came here as a defensive midfielder and I've seen him all over the midfield since then. Now it seems like he's a central mid with an attacking mind
Sissoko isnt **** though is he. If he was ****, Rafa would have shipped him out like others before him. We know Rafa doesnt mess about.
Momo is a break up player isnt he. Problem is, we seem to have got a better player in Mascher for that position and Momo struggles further up the pitch.
I believe we'll sell Momo IF we sign Mascher
"What's your favourite Beatles album then?"
"I think I'd have to say....Best of the Beatles"

Agree.
It's embarrassing how bad he is on the ball.
We're past the stage where he is needed anymore.
We'll be looking to dominate possession most games we play and passing is Sissoko's weakness.
He's great if you're playing Barca and you need someone to cover, run a lot and make tackles, but how many games do we play like that in a full season? Very few. Plus we've got 4 other midfielders who can do what Sissoko does.
Posted earlier then went to the match. - in the Gladys street end with the retards unfortunately before being sent into the liverpool section (I F*ckin despise these ****ers). Surprised that Gerrard went off to be honest but Lucas looked very assured in the centre and should had his first goal if herman munster hadn't stopped it. Anyway off to town now to rub it it a bit more but taking a stop off at the cleaners to get me jacket cleaned of all the spit these tw*ts showewred on me and our kid. Happy derby days. YNWA - HowardLFC it's up to you to dish out the stick mate as I'm off until Thursday. The reds are comin up the hill boys !!
Exactly. In the period in which lucas came on we made 4 chances two from crow, a babel shot and an effort from sissoko. We then went on to get the winner as a direct result of Lucas's shot.
Great tactical decision, also gives a kick up the arse to players (and fans) who think that a player is guaranteed a place in the side on reputation only.
You are spot on.
Gerrard is no untouchable.
I also though Momo was the one who should be subbed, but Lucas won us the game, and that shows Rafa's choice was right.

momo should have come off. Momo is rafa's love child, i'm just trying to work out the dna thing. We were lucky today. It had nothing to do with rafa's genius

Who said so ?
He did the right tactical substitution, that's all. We won.

I said no, Everton after the initial 5 minutes were in control, Lescott was running riots down our right. the formation was not working, and the personnel within were not right. Rafa needs to get the most out of his players, play to their strengths and the formation with the Crow on the right was not good.
We didn't look like we were going to score for long periods, how many actual shots on target did we have when it was 11 vs 11?
After Everton went down to 10 men, Rafa took a long time to make changes, Momo was not playing well and as an attacking threat is null and void yet he stayed on till quite late
Hyypia should have been replaced ages ago, to place all the his eggs in to the Heinze basket was stupid.
As my signature now says i am having doubts in Rafa's ability.
