For me Yossi was the best red player in the derby.
In the first when almost everyone was way off the game he was the only one retaining possession and showing flair.
Added to that he helped out in defense alot.

In the second half he was not as involved but i was shocked to see him subbed.

Yossi has taken some rollicking from people here saying he is not good enough ---- but he is yet to prove anyone right -- all his performances for the reds thus far have been pretty darn impressive, which is saying alot compared to many other players this season.

It was a strange decision to take him off without doubt. He was having a good game.

I'm coming (slowly) to the conclusion that Benayoun is one of most intelligent players and should be played behind Torres most of the time.

I thought it was a waste of money at first. Money that could have been piled together to buy one class player.

But I am warming to him. I though he was good today, and he had a lovely disguised pass to play one of our players through as well. That is stuff I like to see from an offensive midfielder.

He is signed to replace Garcia and he plays in the same positions. Give him time and he may start to deliver in the same way King Luis did.
