I think I can promise that he would do a better job than Kuyt in that position because it's his best position and he is a much better player than Kuyt.Just believe and you never know what will happen.
According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

Kuyt will be sold at the end of the season if we have the money to compete for class strikers or Babel get`s a promotion.
A hard working striker counts for nothing if he can`t score from open play.
I`ve slowly gone from being a Kuyt fan to wandering how he plays in the same position as Owen,Fowler,Rush,Aldridge etc.

I'd agree with that too, they really could be very good together imo.Originally posted by Armchairkopite View PostHe and Torres will form the perfect partnership in time.I could not dig, I dared not rob:

Kuyt is our best option if you look at it from Rafa's point of view.Originally posted by kopdan View PostKuyt is a great player. Works hard and seems to care
But a goal poacher? No...support forward at best.
Clear to see the gap between the Dutch and English league
He want a hard working second striker to play in that position.
Morientes did that, and failed.
Bellamy did that, and failed.
Baros did that, and failed.
Kuyt has failed so far.
I can see a pattern there.....Just believe and you never know what will happen.

Kuyt has not failed, he may not to be up to much on the prolific scoring rate, but he is far from being a failure.Originally posted by AFII View PostKuyt is our best option if you look at it from Rafa's point of view.

I can see a pattern there.....Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'
"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.
* After Tommy Lawrence had let in a fluke goal between his legs

He has failed to deliver enough goals but not what Rafa want him to do, work his socks off in every game.Originally posted by bazza76 View PostKuyt has not failed, he may not to be up to much on the prolific scoring rate, but he is far from being a failure.
Sorry if I didn't made that clear.Just believe and you never know what will happen.

The point is that it's more Rafa's fault that our second striker don't score more goals than the player himself.
If Kuyt would play as a striker then he would score more goals but we would also let in more goals.
Rafa has almost always played it safe and I doubt that he will change.Just believe and you never know what will happen.
