Yes, and i'm sure when Rafa, most fans and the players thought the Brum & Spurs draws werent good enough, they too must've had their heads up their arses...

Tell me, did you get the champagne out after those draws?

I was on the end of verbal volleys of the RCDNWB a few weeks ago and got so p*ssed off that I wanted off the site.

I think the likes of DJS, CAD and also myself have an objective opinion. Basically it was the same in the Houllier era when I was on Koptalk. When he was making bizarre decisions and doing rubbish I said he had to go then the Pro-Houllier brigade came out and started the abuse (eg go and support someone else etc etc.) In the end I was proved right but it's just the way things go.

I'm back on here and posted the other day that I'm going to back the team 100% from now until the end of the season and see what happens. That's what I'll do. I also made an apology for my negativity in past weeks.

However, at the end of the day the likes of CAD, DJS aren't being anti-Liverpool or even anti-Rafa. They are just highlighting the mistakes he makes. And if we're all honest enough we'll admit that he has made a few this season. Some fans just get frustrated with it that's all. But it doesn't help when people come on and say 'Go and Support someone else' or something along those lines.

I think both sides are equally as guilty. It's become a bit of a zoo in here with too much in-fighting. Quite frankly we beat Everton and there are still people on here slating players like Kuyt or starting threads saying certain players aren;t good enough.

At the end of the day we all just want to enjoy football. After beating the Bitters I don't want to read the slating of players or how we weren't good enough. We get enough of that on Sky and in the Press.

Just have an objective discussion and let people say when Rafa makes a mistake and it's upto the Pro-Rafa fans to counter the statements, not in the way which has been done lately

        Sorry for the long post!
        Excellent post.

I dont, for one minute, expect that any Red was happy with games like Spurs and Brum. Not to mention Marseille and Porto...

I'm obviously being totally radical in expressing my unhappiness at results like that. How dare i...

We should all be delighted at dropping those points and, at the very least, if we're not happy about it, we daren't say so.

That is so wrong of us....

But FFS, do we want to win the title or not???

Do teams who win the title generally win most of their games, especially at home?

Can you afford to be dropping home points at the rate we are, if you want to win the league????

Christ, some of you twits would argue if i said we played our home games in red :whatever:
FFS, we've played 10 or so games and still within touching distance of the leading pack. Get a grip mate.

As if building a team and be in a winning position (when at the same token other teams are splashing out the same amount of money) makes it any easier. Of course we all want to win the league, but let's not be rash in our arguments.

If you've told me that with 5 games to go, I would tend to side with you, but not now. And don't tell me that we're on a bad tangeant. :whatever:

No one on here as said they ARE good enough, but the majority are not about to meltdown and kill themselves due to our current terrible circumstances.

The head up the arse comment relates to you thinking you are a better fan than most because you may have higher expectations.

              And I will argue it.

1 game in hand on the scum if we win that we are 1 point behind? hardly out of the title race.
Kinell, who said we are out of the title race????

We're not. I've said LOADS recently that the reason i'm so emphatic on what i'm saying is precisely because we ARE in the title race. And i want us to stay there.

But the league champions will inevitably end up with 90 odd points and if it's to be us, WE MUST MAKE DROPPED HOME POINTS AGAINST THE LIKES OF SPURS AND BIRMINGHAM VERY VERY RARE....

Go on...tell me THAT's wrong too

No but at the same time, having read a lot of your posts you are not just moaning about a couple of dodgy results - you are acting like there is some huge bloody crisis at our club, which there clearly isn't.

I bet every single Liverpool fan was pissed at those results, but some can see the bigger picture, unlike you with your pessimistic outlook on everything.

Fredo, i'm aware that we're in with a good shout and nothing's gone yet.

The point though, is that our form needs to improve HUGELY at home, because 25% home win ratios wont win league titles. So we HAVE to improve that enormously, to have any realistic chance. What's happened thus far isnt good enough, 1 win in 4 isnt good enough.

What do you disagree with in that??

I understand your point of view totally mate. You're spot on. We were rubbish against Pompey, Brum and Spurs and for a lot of the Everton game as well.

No harm in saying that in part it is due to tactical/decisions made by Rafa. I'm not going to sit here and say Rafa is god and he knows best. He is stubborn at times and his picking of Torres in the Carling Cup was a totally bizarre decision. However, I've realised that there is little point saying that is it gets me depressed and also causes a lot of falling out on here, so I just watch the games now

We're not out of the title race, but then again we shouldn't really be six points behind Arsenal either. It is a solid start but we need to pick up the performances as Arsenal is a massive game on Sunday

You can't expect a manager to get everything right. He will correct the mistakes he makes and sells a player if he isn't good enough.

Rafa has tried very hard to sign a quality winger but they have turned us down or the club has priced us out of any deal.

He knows which positions we need to strengthen and he will sign up quality players when they are available at a fair price.

£25m+ for Alves isn't a fair price, or £25m for Quaresma.

Ok lets say we do carry on our exact pattern of form since you have highlighted it. We would end up with 80 points. Thats a marked improvement on last season isnt it and would probably see us in the chase until the final days. You can not ask for more than that.

Sarb mate, mistakes will be done by every manager over the course of a season. That is why we must try to see the big picture.

I've never been siding with Rafa, nor siding against him, just sitting on the fence and giving him the benefit of the doubt because the season is a hard long slog.

It still took 7 ****ing years for Demento to win manure the league. He was given time and look what he did. He built a dynasty and the scums are worried as **** thinking of the day he'll retire.

Rafa's proved he's got the lot. If he makes some mistakes but still brings us the holy grail in the end, we'll all be left with eggs on our plate for being rash.

And, unless some of us hold a UEFA coaching badge, we aren't in a position to argue with Rafa's decisions, be it right or wrong. We should support him till he's manager here.

                              Good post by the way.
