Didn`t someone say on here that Moma is Rafas plan for RB back-up?
Lets hope Finnan doesn`t get an injury as it would leave us short in CM.

There was a Quote from Rafa just after JK left that Cara and Paletta could cover at RB.
I wonder if he thought about Stevie playing there and then thought "No, that will REALLY piss him off"

sg could do a job there IF times were really tough but it would take a shed load of injuries/suspensions etc for Rafa to consider this.

Momo was previously a striker when Rafa bought him from Auxerre to Valencia. He was tried in midfield due to injuries and excelled. From then on, Refa used him in midfield.

I will be surprised if he ends up @ right full back
The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he, who in the name of charity and goodwill shepherds the weak through the valley of darkness, for he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers and you will know my name is The Lord when I lay my vengeance upon thee. He made his Valencia debut at RB. Wasn't suggesting him as competition for Finnan, just cover.

That surprises me. It does not seem like he has many striker-type qualities - such as the ability to score goals, for example.
As for Barragan, it's a shame we could not keep him. He does seem to have a lot of potential and was the most likely of Rafa's new breed of imported youth to get a few first team opportunities, but if he was homesick I don't suppose there was too much we could do.
I'm playing all the right notes. Not necessarily in the right order. I'll give you that, sunshine.

No. It was actually Rafa Benitez who revealed that Sissoko used to be a striker on the official website...
