I saw that as well but it still doesn't mean we can't discuss it surely?

i found a bit disturbing that a manager has to explain himself because of one substitution, that he has to come out and say he's spoken to the player and everything's all right. when it comes to gerrard rafa always feels the need to explain - or dare i say defend - himself. on the field it seems we've put all that one-man-team thing to a rest but off the field it is still very much the same.
btw, i'm not criticising gerrard here cause i don't know who's to blame for this.

Totally agree with this. It's ludicrous that Rafa needs to come and tell the press why he made a substitution...
