    No, some things are about more than just two players. It'd sicken me to see our captain, local lad and representive of the fans (along with Carra) on the pitch suddenly playing for them vermin while they continue with their "build a bonfire" "we hate scousers" ****e. No ****ing way.

        According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

          Even if I were to be up for the deal, would Gerrard be upto it :whatever::whatever:. The fan and media backlash and losing confidence of the dressing room would be enough for me to get the sack for agreeing the deal.
