in 2004/5 season we got out of our group despite losing 2 matches (Monaco and Olympiakos) and drawing with Depor at home. We can still qualify out of this group and it doesnt matter if it's first or second. Last year we won the group and drew Barca.

Yes, stop bringing all that nostalgic rubbish. Our target wasn't the title then. We had the mentality that fourth was top spot. This is a better side (well we can't see it now) but on paper this is a better side and we should have had 7 points and top of the group. The aim was to win the group asap so we can concentrate on the league like we did last season.

We have better things to attend to like the Arsenal.

If we had given ourselves an uphill struggle by losing at home to Marseille it's just got even harder now.

In my heart of hearts, I pretty much don't care if we go through. Yeah, it will be a nice competition to win and going to the knockouts is great for the balance sheet but honestly, you think we would have a chance of winning the title if Rafa concentrates on the Champions League? Methinks not!
