That said I can't believe how much kneejerk we are witnessing after this defeat.

I have been negative in the past but this is too much even for me.

We will win the last three matches in the group and progress. Obviously.
yep, I know Pompey away is a difficult tie, but we should have really gone for it. I think when SG and Torres came on they did make chances but it was a little bit too late.
We cant win every match but to be calling for Rafa's head or just slating him because it is in vogue is just wrong. He is not above criticism but perspective has to be taken.

Well said mate it's popular opinion to slate Rafa right now the media are loving it and some of our lot are lapping it up.
I personally don't rely on the media to form my opinions but unfortunately to many on here do.

"Or there is another option. That Mr Ferguson organises the fixtures in his office and sends it to us and everyone will know and cannot complain. That is simple."

Mr M was coplaining that theres not enough new threads being started so I thought i`d help him out

For all the ****in whining about Rafa, assistant managers, where Stevey G should play, How old Sami is etc, the ONE AND ONLY REASON we are struggling at the moment is because we have a lot of players in **** form. This will recover, and thanks to the desire to not get beat this season we are still unbeaten in the league even though we are playing ****e.

Sooner or later we are going to click, having xabi back will help because his passing will help us a lot when were playing ****.

I have every confidence we will get it all back against arsenal. If we dont, and we get beat, DO YOUR JOB AS FANS AND KNUCLE DOWN BEHIND THE REDS!!!!

We will win the league, or be thereabouts. If we dont theres always next year

Did you have help from a passing 5 year old writing that Coops?

Maybe you don't know that you only get one point for a draw.

Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

He paid some Somali fella in Picton library to write it. By pay I mean he used the minimum of force necessary. Probably a flicky or a cap gun in a plazzy bag.

have you considerd the possibility that it reflects the mood of the fans at the moment?

how exactly do we show our support for the team when we're not playing? should we shut the forum down between matches and only open it for match threads for people to post "go team redmen" over and over again for fear our online ramblings demotivate our superstars?

i genuinely don't see any need for "fan responsibility" here - rafa and the team should not need online unconditional support. they are the ones who are paid enormous amounts of money to fulfill the supporters wishes. if fans genuinely had anything to do with success then chelsea wouldn't have won **** under mourinho just like they didn't for the 50 years before that.

there's alays going to be kneejerk reactions to results like last night's. but some of us have more long-reaching concerns about the direction we are going in. do the rest of you superfans not think that us doommongers wouldn't be more than happy to take the public humiliation that would accompany a succesful season? ths is my ****in team too and i reserve the right to bitch, moan, complain and worry ON THE ****IN INTERNET for as long as i can do it.

The answer to this I have always found is that there is nothing you can do other than support the ****s until they play through it and find there form again.

As the king of the mullett once said 'keep the faith'
I don't know what the exact stat is but something like we were the best team in the prem from October last season and the best from Nov the year before (or something like that) Everyone, I repeat EVERYONE said if we get off to a good start we will be in with a hell of a chance come March, well I call unbeaten in the league a good start - we could have won all our games so far and some morons would be looking to replace Rafa with Curbishley, Fat Sam or good forbid Megson.
With Torres, Agger and Alonso available again we will see a big difference look how Chelsea struggle without Drogba, Terry and Lampard.
We will come out of this mini slump, the only problem when we do is that some people won't have anything negative to post about
The King was back for a short while. Long live The King.
