I agree totally, just look at Torres and then the rest of our strikers and you'll see what quality is
Huntelaar would be a good option or Lavezzi. We need another quick striker so I would go for Lavezzi of the two, probably won't happen but you can always dream.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

Would Voronin have been signed if we had got the investment earlier?

Rafa would of course tell us yes but I don't think so.

              Who is Lavezzi??

Huntelaar is surely going to move in the summer if not January....he's not CL Cup Tied.

                3) with the modern day football being as light as it is, there isn't a striker on the planet that doesn't miss his fair share of sitters.
                1) well, not clear cut ones, at least not in my book.
                2) cole? whatever about him. He would score more than crouch in our team.
                3) sure, but imo Crouch misses too many, and more than others.

Nothing against the lad at all, I just don't think he is what we need to push forward. Not that I am convinced by our other strikers bar Torres either, far from it.

Probably not. Rafa needed strikers and at that point the takeover was a mess with no one knowing what would happen and when.

One of the quickers strikers in Europe. He is from Argentina and plays for Napoli. There is thread about him the football forum.

He has the skill to handle his pace so he isn't another Cisse with just pace.

But he will give him a year to suss out if he works out.
How frustrating that is.He is treating Crouch poorly I must admit though.
Just like Cisse and Baros but then he say's he is not for sale

I can honestly say that the only one of our attacking wide players and strikers I would turn a hair about selling would be Torres.

                                Crouch
                                Voronin
                                Kuyt
                                Pennant
                                Kewell
                                Leto
Babel (granted he needs more time)
                                Benayoun

None of those leaving would bother me.
