You would think with Everton moving that the Counil would want LFC to remain close to the city and would be doing as much as they could to ensure thats going to happen. This new stadium nd related development will surely create a lot of new long term jobs and revitalise the local economy?

To be honest the council don't really have more more to do now, there's the final planning meeting at some point in the next week or so, and then after that as long as the government don't call the plans in it's full steam ahead. With regards the new planing permission for the 75k plus capacity, we'll just have to wait and see if they are going to make life difficult

we'll get the approval but it'll take a while for the train station to get sorted, and the tram system will help us as well if that gets the go ahead. We are being treated shoddily by the council but if we want to stay in the city (and the vast majority do) then it's what we've got to put up with to get it built. Hopefully come 2011/2012 - we'll have our new stadium with nearly 80k seats, hopefully at that stage the biggest prem ground in the country, we'll have brand new facilities, a great transport system to the ground, and the blue****e will be out in kirkby somewhere
