If Alonso and Torres are long term injuries we are in serious trouble. We should have won this game today and id say Fergusion is laughing all the way home. I predict the media will be hunting for Rafa now Jol is gone.
Big deal, that's the minimum requirement of a Liverpool player or indeed any pro footballer.
Played very well today mind, more of the same please Gerrard.

      Istanbul defines Rafas rein.

BTW re: your sig. We don't want those kind of fans anyway.

They had 2 without a keeping in goal. Hit the post twice and had one cleared off the line. We had a freekick a crouch shot and a xabi handball.

You accepting mediocrity, are you saying our style of play is going to win the league? They outplayed us and had ALL the clear cut chances.

Name me the passage of plays we outplayed them or looked comfortable on the ball?
          We come not to play.

I think it was a pretty even game and considering Arsenal's record the last 15 games, it's understandable they're playing with a certain swagger. We've had our doubts lately, so I think we played very very well considering the circumstances. And we got 2 unfortunate injuries to our most important players. We would have won if Torres and Alonso were 100% fit. All this Arsenal outplaying us is total and utter bollocks.

Clearly. Arsenal are damn good with the ball, but we certainly had chances and showed great application. As a football game, I really quite enjoyed that, and feel quite positive after it.

Yeah, I think that if they don't win it this year, they definately have a championship winning team again.
In terms of passing and technique they are ahead at this stage of the season. In terms of tactics and committment I think we're pretty even. You have to put this result in context Arse are at the top of their confidence curve, we're near the bottom of ours. Pretty good result really, though disapointed we didn't hang-on. I actually thought we were the better team second half until Xabi went off. How people on here don't rate him fowler knows.

Because they were few and far between, BE honest, were Arsenal not better then us?
                            We come not to play.

Start of the second half, for about 10-15 mins.

Of course we had chances, chances appear for both side in most games. It doesn't mean that you didn't play ****.

Arsenal were all over us and we just hoofed in long balls, most of which went straight to the opposition.
